The Art of Crystal Healing: A Blend of Acupuncture, Crystals, and Intentions(Part 2)

A few years ago, I broke my ankle crossing a river. I knew right when it happened that the Universe was telling me to slow down, and so weeks of laying down with my leg up were in my future. I actually embraced it. I bought a bunch of books and was ready to rest. At night I could not sleep, so during the day, I pulled out my acupuncture needles and crystals and gave myself a treatment daily.

I placed the crystals where I intuitively wanted to and then used my needles on points to help my ankle heal.

This became a daily practice and I loved it. I looked forward to it. At that time I knew I was on to something and when I mentioned it to some, they thought it was magical and it was.

“My body just went into a deep state of relaxation which allows for healing.

At that point, I thought I was onto something new and amazing, so I knew I needed to learn more about crystals which led me to my first Crystal Healing Certification. Currently I am learning about crystals from an Ancient Chinese Medicine perspective which ties acupuncture and crystals together.

Once I had my Crystal Healing Certification, I began offering Crystal and Acupuncture treatments. Adding crystals on or around the body to the treatment helps the client to drop deeper into a state of relaxation. However, before that we incorporate an intention into the treatment and there is some visualization work at the beginning of the session. The crystals and points are based upon what the clients needs are. Each session is unique to the person on the table at the time. The more layers we can add into our healing process, I believe the more profound the work. It is a deeper commitment to our healing and well-being journey.

Clients’ have told me about some amazing journeys they have taken while in a treatment session. They receive answers to questions. They feel more open and present in the body. They feel relaxed and at ease. Some have said that the sensations last for weeks. Now every client is different and the results vary. One’s journey to learning and working with crystals can initially be overwhelming. There are so many pretty options to pick from, but it can be quite simple. Crystals are a way for us to connect to our intuition. Allow yourself to be drawn to a crystal, a color, a shape and 99% of the time it is exactly what we need.

Another way to pick crystals is to think of something you are working on. For example, if it is about love - we can look at rose quartz, rhodonite, sugilite, pink tourmaline, rhodochrosite or even hematite. Depending upon what stone you choose, the first thing you do is to cleanse the crystal, then you set your intention. You can carry the crystal with you, wear it if it is a bracelet, necklace if those are all options. If it is too large to walk around with, place it in a spot that you will see everyday. This way you are connecting with your intention. You can meditate with your rocks or if you practice yoga, you can rest the crystals on your body during savasana.

“Crystals are an ancient medicine form of healing, guidance and intuitive work.

If you wear jewelry, you have been working with stone medicine unknowingly. And you may notice that you gravitate to the same few stones. Look up what they mean and see how they connect to your life. Crystals and acupuncture is something that has been practiced together for 1000s of years. The wisdom and teachings that come from this time are impactful and amazing. How they knew and saw things without machines to explore always blows my mind. And it is all still relevant today!!
