Sheryl's Emotional Wellbeing Coaching:
Helping kids and parents build
resilience and thrive.

As parents, school can sometimes feel really hard.

Your child might get nervous or worried about school, and this can cause internal distress for you. Sometimes, these school worries bring back old, not-so-fun memories from when you were in school.  You want to protect them from all of that pain.

Unfortunately, sometimes our kids need to just be kids,
and we need to trust in their resilience.

In the process of caring for everyone else, you can forget to take care of yourself  because you  give so much to your family!

Unfortunately this can make you depleted, exhausted, and worn out.  You want to make sure your children are cared for, and you are right to feel that way.  However if you give and give, and forget yourself, you probably have periods of resentment and are experiencing some adrenal fatigue from all this caretaking!
