Somatic coaching and therapy can be for everyone. I find people who have had trauma to feel rapid results from this work. Trauma is held in the body and using the body as a resource to healing has profound results that narrative approaches cannot support. Somatics is for people who feel lost, afraid, alone, depressed, anxious or lacking luster in their personal and professional lives.

During a session, you can expect to engage in various exercises, mindfulness practices, and dialogue with your therapist or coach. These may include deep breathing, body scans, movement, and other techniques designed to help you connect with your body's sensations and emotions.

Being embodied takes time, and experience. Rather than talk about what we are doing, we will experience what we are doing and practice with experiments that can create an opening to awareness. Awareness gives the empowerment to effect change. We may move, we may breathe, we may observe what’s happening in our bodies, in ways we never have before.
