Over many years, I continue to benefit from Jennifer’s spiritual retreats and yoga practices. She is positive, caring, compassionate, and highly experienced. My journey to cultivate inner peace has been influenced by Jen's sharing her knowledge of a variety of different healing modalities. She encourages me to tune into my mind-body connection and my own innate wisdom.

Jennifer continues to be a great resource in my life, and I would highly recommend her for retreats, yoga, or therapy sessions.

  • Ray D.

Jen Degen is a very compassionate and effective therapist; she is also a great yoga instructor and conducts wonderful yoga retreats in beautiful locations in Costa Rica. Jen utilizes the somatic approach, emphasizing the body-mind connection and how we often hold our emotions in our physical bodies, almost at the cellular level. I would recommend her services for those who find life's challenges to be difficult and/or overwhelming at times.

  • Sally K.

Jen Degen is a talented and approachable mental health professional whom I've known for over 15 years. In each context I've had the pleasure to interact with her- attending her yoga classes, being fellow members of a community-wide network of health care practitioners, collaborating one on one to plan and present a retreat series together, I've witnessed the integrity of Jen's embodied wisdom, joy and presence. Through her attention, thoughtful questions and unattached energy, I and others have been helped by Jen to live our lives from a place of increased clarity and compassion. I recommend her to anyone wanting assistance in clearing the murkiness of any variety of situations. As well as listening, reflecting, and exploring with you in person or virtually, Jen gives thoughts and tools to use in your time on your own. Her years of experience in the field of somatic therapy show in her perceptive presence and empowerment of those blessed in seeking out her wisdom.

  • Yes, storms happen, people get sick, and it can be very disappointing to invest in an experience and not be compensated if you can’t get to where you want to go. Travel insurance is relatively inexpensive if you plan ahead. Retreat centers plan for a group and can’t afford the substantial loss of last-minute cancellations due to illness. This protects everyone, as we do not provide refunds. Previous customers have been reimbursed for unforeseen circumstances.

  • We're here to help! Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns about the retreat.
